Early movies were just the clip of the video where there was no cut and the clip did not have any story in it. It was like the clips like that of a train arriving in the station or girls dancing but people got bored of it. Then entered the movies with narrative or storyline in the scene and started appealing audiences. Especially the company named Nickelodeon was the one who had a theatre that helped to make this shift of the movie from novelty to mass media.
